HERGE 1

A new series of smaller works in poster style using Gouache (matt opaque watercolour).

This is of the Herge Museum in Louvain-la-Neuve Belgium, a new museum designed by Christian de Portzamparc consisting of four internal exhibition areas connected by bridges crossing the Atrium. This image is a view from one of those Bridges, looking up at the rooflight and the various coloured planes.

The Museum itself is fascinating and shows what a skilled draughtsman Herge ( Georges Prosper Remi ) was.
